Aujourd'hui, ce sera une rubrique un peu particulière. Elle parle de la fin. Pas d'un livre, mais d'une histoire, ou simplement d'un chapitre.
Ainsi s'achève une page de ma vie professionnelle. Sans fleur ni couronne.
J'ai refusé l'évidence pendant trop longtemps. La colère m'a porté, longtemps aussi. Presque jusqu'à la détestation de tout et de tous. Puis la descente, tout en bas. Dans la noirceur. Dans le désespoir. Pour en sortir, je me suis résigné. Continuer quoi qu'il en coûte. S'accrocher encore et encore. Dans la souffrance. Pour enfin accepter que c'était terminé, avec l'aide précieuse de ceux qui avaient compris avant moi.
Il reste bien sûr les détails matériels et administratifs à régler. Ce ne sont désormais que des détails.

Today's post will be special. I'm talking about an ending. Not the conclusion of a book, but the ending of a story, or perhaps just a chapter.
This is the end of my professional life. Without ceremony.
I denied what was obvious for too long. Anger helped me a long time. Almost to the point of hating everything and everyone. Then, the downfall spiral. Into darkness and despair. To breathe, I abandoned resistance. To carry on no matter what. To hold on again and again. Suffering. To eventually accept that it is over, with the precious help of those who knew before I did.
There are still some administrative details to be resolved. From now on, these are just details.
